Any organization that uses WorkHere’s enterprise services, such as chat, will need to become familiar with the distinction between applicants and candidates.
Applicants are workers who have applied to a job at one of your workplaces on their own. They have not gone through any qualification process.
If you have an enterprise WorkHere account that emphasizes the use of the WorkHere chat team, your notification settings will be set so you do not see your applicant notifications. Don't worry! All applicants go directly to the WorkHere chat team to be pre-qualified for you on your behalf. Candidates who meet your minimum qualifications are delivered to you via WorkHere email notifications. If your account does not take advantage of getting pre-qualified candidates, you are welcome to reach out to email@example.com to learn more about this type of subscription.
Candidates are the workers who have chatted with a WorkHere chat agent and gone through the pre-qualification process. Pre-qualified candidates have been determined to meet your needs and/or qualifications. Pre-qualified candidate emails will have chat notes from the chat agent that highlight the worker’s skill set, licenses, availability, or any other helpful information that will help you quickly engage.
